Karyn Odway brings extensive experience in media relations, crisis communications, strategic planning, message development and brand communications to the Cushman/Amberg leadership team. Her industry experience includes healthcare, business-to-business and corporate communications.

Karyn began her public relations career as a spokesperson for the University of Chicago Hospitals. She has also worked independently as a media relations strategist with clients such as Loyola University Health Systems, Protected Tomorrows, Inc., and Erikson Institute. Prior to that, Karyn spent 14 years as a television journalist, working as an anchor and reporter.

Karyn earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Northern Illinois University. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and volunteers primarily for organizations that serve people with developmental disabilities.
