Amberg Honored by PRSA
Chicago – Thomas L. Amberg, president and CEO of Chicago-based Cushman/Amberg Communications Inc., was recently welcomed into the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) prestigious College of Fellows.  Amberg is one of 15 new inductees, bringing the College of Fellows to a total of 436 out of the nearly 22,000 PRSA members.

“Induction into the College of Fellows is a tremendous honor because the College is filled with those who have achieved great success in public relations,” Amberg said.  “But it’s also a request of sorts, to continue to mentor and bring along others in our business.  I’m very proud to be a Fellow, and appreciative of the support of others around me.”

Amberg, a leading public relations practitioner with more than two decades of industry experience, has been a longtime, respected contributor to PRSA.  He has been active nationally as a Counselors Academy executive board member and supported many PRSA Chicago Chapter events and activities, including as a Silver Anvil judge.

All members of the College of Fellows must have practiced or taught public relations for 20 or more years, demonstrated superior capability as a practitioner or educator, exhibited personal and professional qualities that serve as a role model, and advanced the state of the profession.  Members must also be accredited by PRSA.
