Mary Pettersen
Vice President
Mary Pettersen has provided strategic communications counsel to companies for more than a decade. She has managed the development and implementation of award-winning public relations programs to help build brands on a regional and national basis and drive her clients' businesses.
Mary has extensive experience in coordinating community relations programs and special events, providing communications counsel in times of crisis, and leading media training programs for the agency. She has also worked on local political campaigns and book promotions.
Some of her consumer and business-to-business clients have included: Brunswick Bowling Billiards, U.S. Cellular-which included working with the Chicago White Sox on the naming rights project from Comiskey Park to U.S. Cellular Field, the Illinois Department of Commerce and Community Affairs Office of Coal Development and Marketing, and George S. May International Company.
Mary earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Illinois State University with minors in Spanish and political science. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and the Publicity Club of Chicago and a volunteer for Special Olympics Illinois.
